The Additional Point of Contact (Additional POC) section in Bio-ARROW has been created to assist with communications from the Office of Biosafety (OBS) to the laboratory Principal Investigator (PI), as well as the laboratory personnel. The laboratory’s PI is the initial Point of Contact and can designate 1 – 2 people as Additional POC(s).
Often the people selected would include a lab manager and/or a senior lab member. Those designated will receive additional communications from OBS along with the PI, including training reminders for other lab staff. Additional POC(s) can be changed by initiating a Grant/Personnel amendment.
